Tampa, Fla. (September 20, 2007) – A group of citizens known as the Tampa Canal Preservation and Restoration (CPR) Association have been working with City of Tampa staff to create a waterway management program. CPR will hold two public meetings, along with city staff, to present the information they have gathered, take input from residents and answer questions.
The meetings will be held in the auditorium of H.B. Plant High School from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 3. The high school is located at 2415 S. Himes Avenue. The meetings are being held in advance of a Tampa City Council workshop on the topic scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2007.
